As China just changed their Visa entry requirements you should be
aware that multiple entry visas are not being issued.

Anybody requiring a single entry visa are now required to submit, in
addition to current requirements which are: valid passport, Chinese
visa application form
(from your country's Chinese embassy) and
recent photograph, a letter of invitation from either the relevant
department of the Chinese Government or a Chinese Government
authorised company.

We will send you this letter of invitation after you filled in the application
form and sent it to Jessy Guo at jessy.guo@crugroup.com  with a copy
of your passport.

says that you need to send a room confirmation letter from the hotel

Payment policy
Registrations can only be confirmed upon receipt of payment or proof of

personal credit card. Late payments made after the conference will be
subject to an additional administration fee of US$ 120.00

Cancellation policy
Cancellations must be received in writing prior to 29 August 2008 to
qualify for a full refund less US$ 120.00 administration fee. It may be
necessary for reasons beyond the control of the organisers to alter
content, timing and venue. In the unlikely event of the conference being
cancelled or curtailed due to any reasons beyond the control of CRU
Events
, or it is necessary or advisable to relocate or change the date
and/or location of the event, neither CRU Events, nor its employees will
be held liable for refunds, damages and/or additional expenses which
